The Quiet Courage Foundation brings comfort, courage, and connection to people undergoing cancer treatment. Born from shared experience and compassion, the foundation supports patients through every stage of their journey with care, kindness, and a personal touch.
At the heart of the foundation’s work are thoughtfully curated care boxes, filled with practical and self-care items designed to bring comfort to patients during chemotherapy, radiation, and other treatments. These care boxes are personally delivered to oncology wards, chemotherapy and radiation day units, offering not just practical support, but a reminder that someone is thinking of them, and that they are not alone.
But it doesn’t end with the care box. The Quiet Courage Foundation also creates opportunities for patients to come together through warm and welcoming gatherings. These events provide a space to connect, share stories, and find strength in one another, often bringing much-needed smiles during a difficult time.
With a focus on bringing courage, comfort, and a sense of community, The Quiet Courage Foundation is here to uplift spirits and remind every patient that they are supported, seen, and never alone during treatment and beyond.
About The QCF
Meet Nicky
Nicky is mum to 3 boys who were seven, four and nineteen months old when she was diagnosed at 38. With no family history it was a complete shock that turned her world upside down overnight. Creating The Quiet Courage Foundation has been a fulfilling and cathartic experience. The silver lining of her cancer diagnosis has been meeting courageous people faced with their own diagnosis. Her hope for the foundation is that it continues to impact cancer patients with a beautiful gift to help them with the side effects of treatment, and to foster meaningful connections for those patients who crave a community to lean on for support, even long after treatment finishes.
Meet Mel
At just 35 years old, Melissa was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. At the time, she was a young mum to three small children, just six months, two years, and four years old. While navigating the challenges of chemotherapy and radiation Melissa found unexpected strength and comfort in the connection she shared with other young mums and fellow cancer patients. The support she received from others walking a similar path became a lifeline, one that inspired her to create something meaningful for others facing a cancer diagnosis. Through thoughtfully curated care boxes and warm, welcoming gatherings, the foundation offers not just practical support, but also a sense of connection and community for those going through treatment. She’s now dedicated to reaching those who are walking the same difficult path she once walked.
We provide tangible support to cancer patients

“This box was honestly so practical, but filled with so much love. The toothpaste and toothbrush were such a game changer. Please don’t ever doubt your impact on those who have received one, for I am so grateful for mine.”
